Dryden Lake Festival 2013
Highlighting this year's festival on Saturday July
27th will be a Civil War reenactment that will
commemorate the 150th anniversary Battle of
Gettysburg which was well represented in the 76th
Regiment by Drydenites. "Art in the Park" will
feature local artists. Local Beer Breweries will offer
tastings. Fun & games for families, natural history
displays, canoeing and fishing on the lake. Town
firefighters will demonstrate their finesse with
water hoses. Traditional activities include
picnicking, family games, garden produce
competition and an ice cream social. The very
popular Goose Drop returns. Look for advanced sale
of baby geese locally. (check The Shopper and local
publications.) Look for the "Official" Festival Goose
T Shirts. Kayak, canoe Triathlon at 9:30am. A new
selection of music and performances promises to
have something for everyone. More food vendors,
exhibits .
